Rocks and curled, spiral-shaped fronds line the ground. This coloring page works on two scales: the large body of the diplodocus gives wide, easy areas to fill, while the spiral fronds and the volcano's smoke ask for more care. The oval spots on its back repeat, which keeps a steady rhythm going. About twenty minutes are enough for the whole scene, making this printable page suit a beginner as well as an older child who likes finer detail.
