This dino stands upright on its back legs, smiling with two small teeth showing and its round eyes looking straight ahead. A tall sail with a rounded edge and fine vertical ribs rises along its back, and small oval spots dot its body down to the curved tail resting on the ground. One hand holds a large cut-edged leaf while the other reaches toward a palm tree loaded with coconuts, in front of a smoking volcano and ferns with coiled fronds. The bold, even outline leaves plenty of open space, so the sail and the leaf fill in quickly, while the small spots scattered across the body and the pebbles on the ground call for a finer pencil tip. This coloring page suits younger children just starting out, taking about twenty minutes for the whole scene. To make the sail stand out, color each rib separately instead of one sweep, and keep the same tone across every spot on the back and tail.
