DEFENDING STEGOSAURUS #14

🦕 Stegosaurus 🥰 Cute / Kawaii 🕰️ Triassic 🦕 Herbivore 🦕

Rows of large kite-shaped plates run down this Stegosaurus's back, shrinking into small triangular spikes near the tip of the tail. The dino stands on all four legs, body turned in profile while its head faces forward with a wide smile, a round eye, and a few small teeth peeking out. Oval spots cover the neck, back, and legs. Two coconut palms frame the scene on either side, and a volcano puffs smoke in the background between them. Round boulders sit near the dino's feet, and two clusters of curled ferns fill the lower corners, all resting on a simple oval mound of ground. The outline stays thick and simple across the body, which makes this printable coloring page easy for a young child to fill in without crossing lines. The back plates, the ferns, and the volcano's smoke trail are smaller and more detailed, better suited to a child who already handles a pencil with more control. A five- or six-year-old can manage the whole scene in about twenty to thirty minutes, while an older child adding shading to every plate might take closer to forty. Since the plates alternate between two sizes, try giving the tall ones one shade and the small tail spikes another so the pattern along the back actually reads once colored. Print this coloring page on A4 paper at 200gsm or higher so marker ink doesn't bleed through.
