The picture shows two T-Rex dinosaurs facing the same way: a smiling adult standing tall, resting its small claw on the head of a baby T-Rex placed right in front of it. Both bodies are covered in round spots of different sizes. Two coconut palm trees frame the pair on either side, a volcano puffs smoke behind a hill, and ferns grow among round rocks scattered on the ground. This printable coloring page balances large, smooth areas - the belly, back and legs - with dozens of small circles to fill in one by one across both dinosaurs' skin. The outline is thick and rounded, with no fragile details, which makes the coloring page approachable for young children on the big shapes; the spots ask for more patience, adding up to a session of about twenty to thirty minutes. To tell the two characters apart, try a deeper shade for the adult and a lighter one for the baby, then repeat each color on their matching spots.
