SHARP TEETH T-REX #13

The T-Rex fills most of the frame, standing upright on its hind legs, mouth wide open in a grin that shows two rows of pointed teeth. Its clawed arms are bent close to its chest, and a thick tail sweeps in a wide curve down to the ground on the right. Behind it, a volcano smokes between two palm trees, ringed by rounded rocks and ferns. The dino's body is covered in dozens of circles of different sizes, from tiny dots to large bubbles, which takes patience to color without going over the lines. The head, legs and background, though, offer wide open areas that fill in quickly. This coloring page suits a child just as well as an adult who lingers on the spotted pattern; plan on 40 minutes to an hour. To make the spots stand out, alternate two close shades (two greens, say) instead of one flat color. The volcano's smoke works well shaded in pencil grays, leaving the lightest puffs untouched.
