This coloring page shows a young Lambeosaurus standing on all four legs, head turned toward the viewer with a wide smile and one large round eye. A curved, tube-shaped crest sweeps back from the top of its head. Its neck, back and tail are covered with oval spots of different sizes. Palm trees loaded with coconuts frame both sides of the scene, and a smoking volcano rises on the horizon under rounded clouds. Ferns, tufts of grass and scattered rocks fill the ground around the dinosaur. The outlines are thick and even, which makes this printable coloring page easy to handle for younger children. The body and the palm leaves offer large, quick-to-fill areas, but the many spots scattered across the back call for a bit more patience to keep the colors from spilling into the wrong zone. Expect around 30 to 40 minutes to finish the dino, the volcano and the surrounding plants. Keep the spot pattern readable by picking two or three contrasting colors and repeating them rather than adding too many shades. This dino also works well as a two-tone page, with a dark volcanic background behind a brightly colored animal. Print it on A4 paper at 200gsm so markers won't bleed through.
