BARYONYX COLORING PAGE #2

🌊 Baryonyx 🥰 Cute / Kawaii 🕰️ early_cretaceous 🦕 Herbivore 🦕

The Baryonyx stands upright in shallow water, mouth open in a wide, toothy grin. One clawed hand grips a fish it has just pulled from the river, a long curved claw standing out clearly. A low ridge runs along its back, and its skin is patterned with oval spots. Palm trees lean in from both sides, ferns with coiled fronds fill the foreground, boulders sit near the water's edge, and across the water a volcano puffs smoke into the sky. Rippling circles spread out under its feet and around the fish. The dino's belly and thighs are large, open shapes that fill in quickly with markers or pencils, while the spotted back and the fish's scales call for a finer hand. The background carries most of the detail, with palm fronds, curled ferns, rocks and the distant volcano adding plenty of small sections. This printable coloring page suits children from about 6-7 for the dinosaur alone, and older colorists who want to finish the whole scene; expect 30 to 45 minutes. Color the fish first, since it's the smallest shape and the most tightly outlined, before moving on to the dino and the landscape around it — that keeps the fine claw lines from getting buried under stray marker strokes. Print this coloring page on A4 paper at around 120 gsm, thick enough to stop felt-tip color bleeding through.
