The brachiosaurus stands on all four legs, stretching its long neck up into a tall palm tree and nibbling the leaves, its round eye and smile turned toward us. A row of oval spots runs down its neck, and larger spots cover its back. Behind it, a volcano puffs smoke under a few clouds, a rounded hill closes the horizon, and curly-leaved plants line its feet among smooth pebbles and tufts of grass. The outline stays thick across the body, leaving wide open areas that suit a child just starting out with this coloring page. The neck and back spots, the curling plant leaves, and the volcano's smoke plume call for a finer pencil, which makes it a good printable for a child already comfortable with felt tips. Filling in the whole scene takes about half an hour.
