RUNNING PACHYCEPHALOSAURUS #14
This coloring page shows a young pachycephalosaurus with a domed, bump-covered skull, trotting forward with one clawed foot raised, mouth open in a grin, and a thick tail dragging along the ground. Oval spots cover its entire body from head to tail. Behind it, a volcano smokes between palm trees loaded with coconuts and low mountains, while rocks, spiral-fronded ferns and round pebbles fill the ground around its feet. The linework is thick and rounded, with no cross-hatching, which makes this printable dino accessible to young colorers. Still, the many spots scattered across the body and the crowded background — volcano, palms, rocks, ferns — add up to enough separate zones to keep an older child busy for a good half hour. To keep the domed skull readable, color the spots in two contrasting shades before tackling the rest of the body. This coloring page prints well on heavier paper, at least 120gsm, A4 or letter size, so marker ink won't bleed through.
