DIMORPHODON COLORING PAGE #5

🦅 Dimorphodon 🥰 Cute / Kawaii 🕰️ early_jurassic 🦕 Herbivore 🦕

A grinning Dimorphodon glides across the page with its bat-like wings fully spread, clawed feet drawn up beneath its body and a long tail ending in a diamond-shaped flap trailing behind. A palm tree stands on each side of the scene, fronds cut into thin curved blades. On the ground, ferns with coiled fiddleheads, spiky low plants and rounded rocks line a sandy stretch, while a volcano puffs a cloud of smoke in front of distant hills. The outline is bold and fairly thick across the dino's body, leaving large open areas on the wings and belly that are quick to fill in. The ferns and palm fronds are busier, with many small pointed segments that call for a steadier hand. This coloring page works well as a first flying-dinosaur project for younger colorists on the big shapes, and as a longer printable for older kids who want to tackle the foliage — about twenty to thirty minutes in total. Coloring each wing in one smooth sweep, rather than patch by patch, keeps the sense of motion intact. Leaving the volcano's smoke cloud white makes it stand out against the sky. Print it on solid A4 paper, at least 160 gsm, so felt-tip pens won't bleed through.
