CUTE DIPLODOCUS #16
This dino's long neck carries a series of even rings running down to the shoulders, and its back is dotted with large oval spots grouped in clusters of three or four. It stands facing slightly left with a big round eye and a gentle smile, its tail trailing behind in a slim curved point. Around it: four palm trees, two clumps of ferns, a few rounded rocks on the ground, and a volcano puffing a small cloud of smoke in the distance. The outline is clean and fairly thick, leaving large areas on the body and neck that are easy to fill in. The neck rings and back spots need a little more care so they don't blend together, and the palm fronds have finer, more cut-up shapes suited to a steadier hand. This printable coloring page works well from around age 5-6, and takes about twenty minutes to complete. Since the rings repeat all the way down the neck, picking one color for them and a different one for the back spots keeps both patterns easy to read on this diplodocus. For printing, this coloring page prints well on A4 paper at 100 gsm, sturdy enough for felt-tip pens.
