The triceratops carries a pumpkin-shaped basket loaded with candy and a lollipop, cradling it against a knitted scarf while it stands on a paved path, grinning with round eyes. Its frill fills most of the upper scene, covered in stars and oval spots between three horns, and a row of spiked plates runs down its back to the tail. Jack-o'-lanterns with different carved faces line the ground on both sides, two trees hold spiderwebs and smiling hanging spiders, bats cross a sky with a crescent moon and stars, and maple and oak leaves drift down around the dino. Line weight stays fairly bold across the body and the pumpkins, but the frill packs in small stars and ovals, and the webs add plenty of fine strands to follow - enough detail to keep a printable coloring page busy for a while. Younger children can stick to the dino, the path and the plain pumpkins, while older ones can take on the webs, the star pattern and the falling leaves. Plan for one unhurried sitting, maybe two, to finish everything. Working the frill's stars in one flat color before adding the ovals keeps that pattern readable instead of muddy, and the night sky can stay in a narrow tonal range so it doesn't compete with the triceratops up front.
