A smoking volcano rises behind the scene, its rounded cloud puffing into the sky, while in the foreground a T-Rex stands wide-mouthed and grinning atop a rocky mound, small arms raised, thick tail curving down to the ground. Coconut palms flank both sides of the picture, ferns and tufts of grass fill the base of the rock, and loose pebbles are scattered across the ground below. This coloring page mixes bold, open shapes with fiddly detail: the dino's body and the rock give plenty of room to fill in quickly, while the palm fronds, fern leaves, round back spots and scattered pebbles ask for a steadier hand. Younger children can stick to the big shapes, while older kids or adults will enjoy working through the foliage and the volcano's smoke. Expect around thirty to forty minutes to finish the whole scene. Since the volcano sits in its own corner, save it for last so the smoke shading stays light and doesn't spill onto the dino below. This printable works well at A4 size on 200gsm paper, sturdy enough to hold up to markers without bleeding through.
