EATING STEGOSAURUS #5

🦕 Stegosaurus ⭐ Simple (Kids) 🕰️ Jurassic 🦕 Herbivore 🦕

The stegosaurus fills most of the frame, standing in profile with its head lowered, chewing on a fern frond held in its half-open mouth. Along its back run tall kite-shaped plates that alternate between bigger and smaller ones all the way to the tail, which ends in two long upward spikes. Its body is covered in oval spots of different sizes. Behind it, three coconut-topped palm trees frame a gently smoking volcano, while dense ferns, rounded rocks, and a turtle resting beside a stone fill the foreground. The line work stays thick and rounded on the dinosaur itself — belly, plates, spots — which makes for a quick, easy coloring page for younger kids. The fern fronds, palm leaves, and the turtle's shell, though, are broken into much smaller sections, so this printable also rewards an older colorist willing to slow down; expect around twenty minutes for a careful pass. Color the large body spots and the back plates first, then work outward into the ferns, so the sheet stays easy to read as you go. This coloring page prints well on stock around 200 gsm, thick enough to hold up under markers or coloured pencils without bleeding through.
