SWAMP PARASAUROLOPHUS #25
Standing in a shallow pool that ripples around its four feet, this Parasaurolophus turns its head toward the viewer, a round eye and a calm smile beneath its long, curved crest, itself dotted with a few spots. Round and oval spots, large and small, cover its back and tail. Palm trees frame the scene, ferns and tall grass edge the water in the foreground, rocks sit close to its legs, and a volcano smokes in the background. The outline is thick and every shape rounded, which makes this coloring page approachable for young colorists: each spot is its own clean, closed zone with no fiddly detail. A first-timer can stick to the big areas - flanks, crest, palms - while a more patient colorer shades every spot on its own. Expect about twenty minutes to finish the whole scene. Since so many spots overlap along the back, alternating two shades of the same color family keeps each one readable. The thin ripple lines around the water hold up better in colored pencil than under a broad marker. For this printable coloring page, print on A4 or letter paper at least 200gsm so markers won't bleed through.
