SMILING TRICERATOPS #10
This triceratops fills most of the foreground, mouth wide open in a grin, round eyes looking straight out. Three horns rise from its head - a short one on the snout and two long ones above the eyes - while its broad frill carries a row of bumps along the edge. Circles pattern its back, sides and frill, and its tail ends in a small rounded ridge. Behind it a volcano puffs smoke between two hills, ringed by palm trees loaded with coconuts; on the ground, round pebbles and spiky bushes fill the space, with a curled fern in the left corner. The line stays bold and clean across the dino's body, leaving large, easy areas for a young child to fill in. The background asks for more patience, since the volcano smoke, palm fronds and small stones break into more scattered shapes. Plan on about twenty minutes to finish this printable coloring page from start to end. For this drawing, it helps to color the back circles in a different shade from the rest of the body so they stand out. This coloring page prints well on A4 paper of at least 200gsm, sturdy enough for both markers and colored pencils.
