The dino's neck rises straight up between two coconut palms, its head turned toward the viewer with a calm smile and wide eyes. Rows of ring-shaped spots run down the neck, back and tail. Behind it, a volcano sends a curl of smoke into the sky, while ferns, spiky tall grass, scattered rocks and a small puddle fill the ground around its four legs. The outline is thick and easy to follow, but each ring on the body is best coloured separately to stay legible, which suits a child who already colours carefully inside lines rather than a first-timer. The palms, volcano and rocks, by contrast, are large open shapes that fill in quickly. This coloring page takes about twenty minutes for the main areas, longer if every ring gets its own shade.
