MARINE REPTILES #9

🌊 Marine Dinosaurs 🥰 Cute / Kawaii 🕰️ Cretaceous 🦖 Carnivore 🦖

The top half of this scene shows a marine dino's head breaking the surface, its long neck covered in oval spots, smiling with a small round eye, framed by palm trees, rocks and a smoking volcano on the horizon. Below the waterline, the same body continues underwater: two broad flippers, a paddle-shaped tail, wavy strands of seaweed and bubbles drifting up toward the head. The line work stays even and fairly bold, leaving large smooth areas across the belly, flanks and rocks that a beginner can fill in quickly. The oval spots running down the neck and back need more patience, since each one has to be colored separately without spilling onto the body around it. That mix makes this coloring page suitable for a young child as well as for someone who wants a calmer twenty- to thirty-minute session. Because the waterline splits the drawing so clearly, using two distinct palettes for the air and the water helps that split stay readable once everything is colored in. This printable page prints best on A4 paper with a heavier weight of at least 200 gsm, so felt-tip pens don't bleed through on the many small spots along the neck.
