This dino stands upright on a rounded boulder, wings stretched wide open, mouth open in a toothy grin and eyes big and round. Its tail curls into a spiral tip resting on the ground, and its clawed feet grip the stone beneath it. Behind it, a volcano sends up a cloud of smoke, two spiky palm trees frame each side of the picture, and ferns, sharp-leafed plants, and cracked boulders fill the foreground. The Dimorphodon itself is drawn with bold, simple lines and large smooth areas - the belly, the wing membranes - that are easy to fill in for younger hands.
