GIANT MOSASAURUS #4
A grinning mosasaurus swims in profile toward the left, its jaw open just enough to show a row of small triangular teeth beneath one huge round eye. Two paddle-shaped flippers and a long tail ending in a pointed fin carry its body forward. Bubbles drift around it while, in the background, two palm trees and a smoking volcano rise on an island above ferns and rounded rocks resting on the seabed. Its body is covered in tight spirals and small circles packed side by side, which multiplies the number of areas to color. The seabed, palm trees, and smoke plume, by contrast, offer large, simple zones. That balance suits a child just starting out with repetitive patterns, for a session of around thirty minutes. To avoid getting lost among the many circles on its back, it helps to follow the rows with two or three colors rather than varying every single shape. This coloring page works well for a printable sea-dinosaur display. Print it on A4 paper, at least 160 gsm, so markers don't bleed through.
