FIERCE SPINOSAURUS #29
The picture shows a Spinosaurus standing upright on its hind legs, jaws wide open and lined with sharp teeth. One clawed arm lifts in front of its chest while the tail curls along the ground for balance. A tall sail with rounded segments runs down its back from neck to tail. Oval spots of different sizes cover the body, neck and legs. Behind the dino, a volcano puffs smoke, framed by two palm trees, ferns and a few rocks on the ground. The dinosaur's outline stays thick and easy to follow, which suits younger children for the large spaces on the belly and thighs. The many spots scattered across the body and the sail's rounded segments call for more patience, one at a time. The volcano, palm trees and ferns add finer background lines. Expect this printable coloring page to take a good half hour, longer if every spot gets its own care. To give the spots some texture, alternate between two close shades rather than one flat color. Color the background first, the volcano and plants, before the Spinosaurus, to avoid smudging near the body outline. This coloring page prints well at A4 size, on paper of at least 160 gsm so felt-tip pens don't bleed through.
