The diplodocus lowers its head all the way to a pond, its smiling snout just touching water that ripples in small circles around its four legs. The long neck curves down from a body dotted with round spots, while a tapering tail stretches out to the right along the water's edge. Behind it, a volcano sends up a thick plume of smoke next to a round sun, framed by leafy palm trees on both sides and a few low ferns. In the foreground, textured rocks and tufts of grass line a winding stream.
