This dino stands upright on its hind legs in this coloring page, one arm bent and the other raised, in an almost friendly pose. Its round head breaks into a wide toothy grin, and a single horn juts from the tip of its snout — the mark of a Ceratosaurus. Oval spots cover its body, and a row of small bumps runs along its back to the curved tail. Behind it, a volcano smokes between two palm trees, with ferns and round pebbles on the ground. The outline is thick and even, made for an easy coloring page: the belly, the volcano and the smoke cloud fill in quickly with marker. The spots, the back bumps, the ferns and the pebbles call for a steadier hand. This dozen or so zones suits children around 4 to 7, for a session of roughly twenty minutes.
