EATING PARASAUROLOPHUS #6

🦕 Parasaurolophus 🥰 Cute / Kawaii 🕰️ Jurassic 🦕 Herbivore 🦕

The Parasaurolophus stands in profile, head curved back to nibble a fern frond held in its mouth. Its long crest sweeps back from the skull, its round eye gives it a cheerful expression, and its whole body - flanks, back, thighs - is covered in oval blotches of many different sizes that nearly overlap all over. The thick tail arcs upward behind it, its feet rest on small pebbles, and ferns plus a broad-leafed plant frame it on both sides. In the background, a volcano releases a puff of smoke. This coloring page takes patience mostly because of the body blotches: there are many of them, uneven in size, and filling each one separately takes time, even though the shapes themselves stay simple to trace. The crest is broken into finer parallel bands that need a steadier hand. The fern fronds, with their repeated small leaflets, suit a child already used to coloring; a very young child may prefer to focus on the body and the volcano. Expect a good half hour to finish it all. To avoid tiring of the blotches, work zone by zone rather than trying to tackle them all at once. This printable page also works well for a quiet moment before bedtime. Print this dino at A4 on 160gsm paper so markers won't bleed through.
