DIPLODOCUS AT LAKE #15

The diplodocus lowers its long neck toward a lake, its snout touching the water and sending out small rippling circles. A round eye and a calm, faint smile give the scene a gentle mood. Large oval spots of different sizes cover its back and its long curved tail, which lifts slightly above the ground. Rounded rocks and fern-like leaves sit near the water's edge, three palm trees rise behind the dino, and a volcano puffs a thin trail of smoke in the background. This coloring page mixes big open spaces with finer patches: the dino's body gives wide areas that are easy to fill, while the concentric water rings and the palm fronds call for a steadier hand. The oval spots are large enough for young colorists yet numerous enough to keep older children interested.
