BABY DIPLODOCUS #5

🦕 Diplodocus 🥰 Cute / Kawaii 🕰️ Cretaceous 🦕 Herbivore 🦕

Two diplodocuses stand side by side among ferns and rocks: the adult holds its long neck high, head tilted with a faint smile, while a baby diplodocus with a shorter neck faces forward just in front. Both bodies are covered in a scatter of oval spots running from the back up the neck, and their legs carry vertical stripes. Behind them, a volcano sends up a plume of smoke between two palm trees loaded with coconuts, while broad leaves and rocks fill the foreground on either side. The outline is clean and fairly bold, which makes this coloring page approachable for younger children, but the many oval spots scattered across both dinos call for a steady hand so the shapes don't run together. The larger areas - the smoke, the foliage, the rocks - fill in quickly and give the page room to breathe. Plan on a good half hour for the broad zones, longer if every single spot gets its own pass. To keep the adult and the baby dino visually distinct, it helps to use two close but different shades for their spots, starting with the small shapes before moving on to the background. This printable coloring page fits nicely on A4 paper at 160-200gsm, a weight sturdy enough for markers and pencils without the ink bleeding through.
