Perched on a large rock, this baby dino has big round eyes and a wide open, smiling mouth, its clawed feet dangling over the edge. One front paw rests on the stone, the other lies against its round belly, and its tail curls along the rock. Oval spots cover its head, back and tail. Behind it, a volcano puffs smoke between two palm trees, framed by ferns and one fern uncurling in a spiral. The dino's body is made of large smooth areas, easy for younger children to color, while the spots on the head, back and tail call for steadier hands. The faceted rock, palm fronds and ferns add extra detail. This coloring page takes about 25 minutes, making it a good printable for a single sitting.
