ARMORED ANKYLOSAURUS #39
This ankylosaurus stands front and center, turned slightly to the left with a round eye and a smiling mouth, plus two small horns atop its head. Rows of rounded armor plates run along its back from neck to tail, and the tail curves off to the right beside a cluster of ferns. The dino stands on an oval patch of ground scattered with small pebbles, flanked by two rounded boulders. Behind it, a pointed volcano puffs out a trail of smoke, framed by three palm trees with long drooping fronds and leafy bushes filling both sides of the scene. The linework stays even and fairly thick, with no shading or crosshatching, which makes this coloring page approachable for younger colorists. The back plates form medium round zones that are easy to fill in one at a time, while the palm fronds and ferns take a bit more care because of their thin, repeated leaflets. Expect about twenty minutes for a young child, longer if every frond is colored separately. To make the ankylosaurus's armor stand out, try alternating two shades of the same color family between rows of plates instead of using one flat tone throughout. This printable coloring page works well printed on A4 or letter paper at 160gsm or heavier, so markers won't bleed through the large volcano shape.
