A small fish swims right beside the Spinosaurus's smiling snout, its fins drawn with a few simple curved lines, while ripples spread across the shallow pool where the dinosaur stands knee-deep. The sail on its back rises in a tall fan of parallel ridges, and round spots of different sizes cover its neck, back and tail. Smooth boulders sit both in the water and along the bank, palm trees with coconuts frame both edges of the scene, and a volcano puffs a thin trail of smoke behind curled ferns in the background. Lines throughout this coloring page are thick and rounded, leaving generous open spaces: the sail in broad bands, the body in scattered circles, the water in loose wavy lines. It's an easy printable that works well for younger children just starting out, with enough spots and background detail to keep older kids busy for around thirty minutes. Since the spots repeat down the whole body, picking one or two colors for all of them before moving to the background keeps the dino looking consistent rather than patchy. Print it on A4 paper of at least 200 gsm so felt-tip pens won't bleed through.
