The brachiosaurus stands at the center of the page, neck stretched all the way up to the tallest palm tree, a leaf caught between its lips and a small round eye turned skyward with a cheerful grin. Around it, smaller palms, ferns and bushy plants fill the ground, while a volcano puffs smoke gently in the background between two low hills. Two rounded rocks sit near its sturdy feet, one on each side. This coloring page mixes big, easy-to-fill shapes - the belly, the thighs, the trunk of the tall palm - with more careful spots: the dino's back and neck carry a chain of oval and round patches in different sizes, and every palm frond ends in thin points that call for a fine-tip marker. Thirty to forty-five minutes is enough for a full pass; the large shapes suit younger children, while the patterned back will keep older kids busy longer.
