TITANOSAURUS COLORING PAGE #5
This printable coloring page shows a long-necked dino standing in profile on four sturdy legs, its head turned toward us with a smile and a big round eye. Its back and tail, curving gently down to the ground, carry oval spots and a spiral on the shoulder. Behind it, a volcano smokes and sends lava down its slope, surrounded by palm trees, round clouds, bushy ferns, boulders and small pebbles on the ground. The outline on the dino's body is bold and clean, leaving large open areas well suited to a child just starting out. The background asks for more patience: palm fronds, cracked lava and ferns pack in small spaces better suited to an older child. Plan on half an hour for the dino, close to an hour with the whole scene. On this drawing, color the small spots and the spiral on the back first, before filling the large body around them, or the wide fields swallow the fine details. This coloring page prints well on heavier paper, A4 or US letter, at least 200gsm if you're using markers.
