One wing of the pteranodon folds close to its head while the other stretches to the right edge in a long, tapering point. Its backward-curving crest, round eye and slightly open beak give it a cheerful look, legs tucked beneath its body. Below, a volcano puffs smoke between palm trees, one hung with coconuts, while spiral ferns, broad leaves and round boulders frame a still pool. The outline on the flying dino is bold and simple, leaving wide, open spaces on the wings and belly, easy to fill first on this coloring page. The scenery below is busier, with the volcano's texture, cut palm leaves, curled ferns and scattered stones asking for more patience.
