Wings stretched wide, this pterodactyl fills the middle of the page, head tilted forward with a broad grin and one round eye clearly drawn. Below and further back, a small group of smaller pterodactyls flies together in loose formation, sketched with only a few simple lines. Two palm trees frame the scene, with ferns and rocks resting on the ground on each side. Between them, a volcano sends up a curling plume of smoke.
