PREHISTORIC TRICERATOPS #21

🦕 Triceratops 🥰 Cute / Kawaii 🕰️ Triassic 🦕 Herbivore 🦕

A young triceratops with a cheerful, smiling face walks among rocks and ferns, its head turned slightly toward the viewer. Three clear horns frame its snout, and its neck frill is divided into large rounded plates. Big oval spots dot its back and tail. Behind it, a volcano sends up a cloud of smoke between two rows of palm trees loaded with coconuts, with a small winding path on the ground. The lines drawn for this dino stay thick and rounded, made for small hands: the frill, the belly and the volcanic cloud give large, easy-to-fill areas. The background is more demanding, with palm fronds, coconuts and stones to color one by one. This coloring page is a good printable for children from around 4 for the triceratops alone, and takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour for the whole scene. Start with the triceratops' big shapes before moving to the background details, so the small pieces don't feel discouraging. To set the volcano's smoke apart from the greenery, try contrasting colors. Print this coloring page on A4 paper of at least 200 gsm so markers won't bleed through.
