HUNTING T-REX #13
A young T-Rex with a wide grin stands at the edge of a winding stream, looking down at a small fish swimming just past its front feet. Its skin is covered in circles and concentric ovals from snout to tail tip. Behind it, two palm trees frame a volcano puffing out a cloud of smoke, while ferns, tufts of grass and large boulders fill the foreground. This coloring page mixes big open areas - the belly, the rocks, the smoke cloud - with a multitude of small circles running down the back and tail. The lines stay thick and closed, with no tiny details to isolate, making it approachable from age 5-6 while still giving an older child a good half hour of work thanks to the sheer number of spots. To avoid getting tired of the dozens of circles on the back, color them in small clusters and alternate with the bigger zones like the stream water or the palm leaves. This dino works well with a green gradient across the plants. Once this printable coloring page is finished, print it on A4 paper around 200gsm so markers won't bleed through.
