Two small horns rise above this young dino's large round eye, and its half-open mouth curves into a mischievous grin. It stands on its hind legs, one clawed arm bent forward as if it had just stopped mid-stride. Oval spots of many sizes cover its neck, back and long curved tail. Behind it, two tall palm trees loaded with coconuts frame the scene, a volcano puffs smoke in the distance, and round rocks sit among ferns and grass. The outline in this printable coloring page stays thick and even, built for young hands: the belly, thighs and palm fronds give wide, easy areas to fill in. The real challenge is coloring the many spots one by one, a repetitive task that stays manageable from early primary age and takes about half an hour. Try shading the spots in two close tones instead of one flat color to give the skin some texture, and keep the volcano's smoke in soft grey, darker near the crater.
