This dino stands upright on its hind legs, jaws open and teeth on full display, almost mid-roar. Its short clawed arms are tucked near its chest, while a long tail curls behind it toward the edge of the page. Stripes run down the body, and small rounded scale patches dot the back and flanks. Around the dino: three smooth rocks, ferns, low leafy plants, three coconut palms, and in the background a volcano puffing smoke above a line of distant hills. The linework mixes wide open areas — belly, thigh, ground — with finer detail: body stripes, back scales, palm fronds, curling fern tips, textured rocks.
