This dino Edmontosaurus strides on all four legs, front left leg raised mid-step, mouth open in a grin, round eye looking straight at us. Its back, neck and thigh are covered in oval patches of different sizes, and its long tail trails almost to the edge of the page. It stands on an oval shadow on the ground, surrounded by coconut palms, tufts of spiky foliage, round rocks and a small volcano puffing smoke on the right. The linework is bold and the shapes are wide open: the dino's body fills in within a few passes, and so do the palms. The oval patches on the back need a bit more care to vary the shades without going over the lines, and the spiky bushes add plenty of small areas to fill.
