EATING STEGOSAURUS #7
Behind this stegosaurus, a volcano puffs a cloud of smoke above the palm trees, while the animal itself stays focused on a small fern it is nibbling at ground level. Two rows of rounded plates run along its back down to a tail tipped with clear spikes, and oval markings cover its neck, back and flanks. Its round eye and gentle smile give the dino a calm expression as it stands among scattered rocks and tufts of grass and ferns. The outline is bold and the stegosaurus itself offers large, easy areas to fill, well suited to a young colorist working with crayons or markers. The background asks for more patience: the palm fronds are drawn leaflet by leaflet, and the rocks and grass clumps add plenty of small shapes to work around. Finishing the dino alone is quick; completing the whole scene takes a longer sitting. Color the stegosaurus first, then move outward to the palms and volcano so the smaller background details don't get overwhelming. This coloring page prints cleanly as a printable A4 or US letter sheet on 180gsm paper, sturdy enough for markers without bleeding through.
