Suchomimus, meaning 'Crocodile Mimic,' was a fascinating dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, about 125 to 112 million years ago. What made Suchomimus so special? Well, its long, slender snout, filled with over 100 teeth, looked a lot like a crocodile's! This wasn't just for show; it was perfectly designed for snatching slippery fish from rivers and lakes. Suchomimus was a piscivore, meaning its main diet was fish.
