SUCHOMIMUS COLORING PAGE #4

🌊 Suchomimus 🦖 Realistic 🕰️ early_cretaceous 🦕 Herbivore 🦕

The suchomimus stands upright on its hind legs, head turned toward the viewer, its long crocodile-like snout parted in a toothy grin. Its stretched neck carries striped bands, its back runs along a double row of diamond-shaped plates all the way to the base of the tail, and the whole body - flanks, thighs, tail - is dotted with large circles of different sizes. The long tail trails low, almost touching the ground. Two small clawed arms rest in front of it, and its feet stand on rocky ground crossed by a winding trickle of water. Three palm trees frame the scene, tropical leaves and ferns fill the corners, and in the background a volcano puffs out a round cloud of smoke. The dino's outline stays thick and clean, easy to follow, but the dozens of circles across the body and the diamond plates on the back call for patience so they don't blur together. The palm fronds and ferns add finer patches, while the volcano and its smoke cloud fill in quickly with broad strokes. This coloring page suits kids from about age 7, or younger if some circles are left blank. Plan for roughly 45 minutes to work through every pattern without rushing. To make the dino's silhouette pop, alternate two shades across the body's circles instead of one flat color - the mottled effect reads immediately. Keep a separate tone for the back plates so they stand out from the skin. Print this printable at A4 on 200 gsm paper: thick enough to hold up under markers or pencils without the ink bleeding through.
