A triceratops stands front and center, walking past rounded rocks, its wide frill covered in evenly spaced oval spots that continue down its back and tail. Its three horns point straight up, and at the base of the frill a small dinosaur with big round eyes and an open, toothy mouth appears to climb or leap alongside it, in a playful rather than threatening pose. Behind them a volcano lets out a thin trail of smoke, framed by two palm trees, thick ferns, and a couple of rounded clouds. The outlines stay clean and fairly thick across the body and frill, leaving large areas that fill in quickly on this coloring page. The oval spots break that space into smaller sections to color one at a time, much like the palm fronds and fern leaves in the background. That mix of big open zones and finer details suits a child who already has some coloring experience, and the full scene takes a good half hour to finish. Giving each spot on the frill its own shade, rather than one flat color across the whole surface, brings out its texture. This printable prints well on paper of at least 200 gsm in A4 size, sturdy enough that felt-tip pens won't bleed through.
