This coloring page shows a slim dino standing on its hind legs, mouth open and round eye wide. One bent arm swings forward with its stride, while a long, striped tail curves up behind it. A volcano behind the dino sends up a thick puffy cloud of smoke. Palm trees, ferns, rocks and muddy puddles surround the scene. The lines are bold and even, made for young colorists: the dino's body and thigh give large, easy areas to fill in with markers. The stripes running down the back and tail call for a steadier hand, as do the ferns and the curling smoke above the volcano. This printable coloring page takes about twenty minutes to finish. Color the body, tail and volcano first, then come back to the ferns and stripes, which are easier to keep neat once the background is set.
