ALBERTOSAURUS COLORING PAGE #2

🦖 Albertosaurus 🦖 Realistic 🕰️ late_cretaceous 🦖 Carnivore 🦖

This Albertosaurus stands upright with a cheerful grin between two palm trees, its thick tail trailing along the ground. Oval spots cover its back and tail, while wider bands mark the belly and thigh. Its small arms fold in front of its body. Behind it, a volcano sends up a thin plume of smoke, surrounded by round rocks and ferns in the foreground. The linework on this coloring page is thick and rounded, friendly for young colorists, though the many small spots dotted across the body call for a bit of patience to fill in one by one. Large areas - the palm fronds, belly, and rocks - color in quickly. Expect twenty to thirty minutes for the full scene, doable from age 5-6 with help, independently around 7-8. To make the spots stand out, alternate two close shades, like orange and brown, rather than one flat color. Keep the volcano's smoke a very pale gray so it doesn't overpower the rest of the drawing. This printable page works well on 200gsm paper at US Letter or A4 size, sturdy enough to hold up to markers and pencils.
