ACROCANTHOSAURUS COLORING PAGE
This grinning dino stands upright on its hind legs, mouth wide open, one clawed front paw raised as if waving. Round spots dot its neck, back and long curling tail, while a row of small rounded bumps runs along its whole spine, from head to tail tip. Around it: two bushy palm trees on the left, more palms and ferns on the right, smooth rocks scattered on the ground, and a smoking volcano puffing behind a sun veiled by clouds. The lines on this coloring page are thick and even, drawn for large open areas: the dino's belly, back and thighs fill in easily without going over the edges. The round spots, the volcano's rocky slopes and the palm fronds ask for a bit more care, but stay a comfortable size throughout. This printable suits children from about age 5, for a session of roughly 20 to 30 minutes. Try shading the back spots in two close tones to give the Acrocanthosaurus some depth, then darken the volcano's smoke in small strokes so it lifts off the pale sky. Print this coloring page at A4 size on paper of at least 90gsm, so markers won't bleed through.
