This dino stands with both wings fully spread overhead, clawed tips raised high on either side. A long crest sweeps back from its rounded head, and a wide smile with one big round eye. A scaled pattern covers the belly, and clawed feet rest on the ground. A palm tree frames each side of the scene, with ferns curled into tight spirals, a few rocks in front, and two small volcanoes puffing smoke between them. The wings form two broad, open surfaces, ideal for a first coloring page for a child who hasn't learned to stay inside small lines yet. The scaled belly, the fern spirals, and the volcano smoke need a steadier hand and finer pens, giving older kids their own challenge on the same page. Expect about twenty minutes to finish it fully. Since the wings mirror each other, coloring them the same shade first keeps the drawing balanced before moving to the background. Printed on standard printer paper this printable coloring page works fine, but a heavier 200gsm sheet in A4 or US letter holds up better against markers and doesn't buckle.
